Deuteronomy was—and still is—a passionate burst of preaching. Matt Fuller’s book provides the warm and wise insights that preachers need and love. It’s exegetically faithful, thoroughly applied and leaves you convinced of Deuteronomy’s key place in the Bible’s big message.

… gives a very helpful analysis of the whole book and his comments on individual passages are penetrating and concise and never lose sight of practical application. I hope this will lead to many more sermons on this magnificent but often neglected book.

Matt’s pointers for application at the end of each chapter are very realistic, making this one of the most useful books for preachers I have come across. Deuteronomy needs to be preached (it’s as much about ‘heart’ as ‘law’), and preachers will not find a better guide.
