Four sermons from Dr MArtyn Lloyd-Jones, going through Psalm 51. This psalm is often referred to as David's psalm of repentance following his adultery with Bathsheba. Lloyd-Jones takes us through the psalm and gives us firstly, an exposition of the nature and seriousness of sin. He then shows the importance and need of repentance for both Christians and non-christians today. Finally he goes on to show from the psalm what repentance will lead to - joy and gladness, a realisation of God's power, and desire to please God and to live for His glory. These sermons are simple to read and understand, but also, truly challenging. They will certainly get a person to think about their own life. Warmly recommended.
