This book is a great addition to any library. Descriptive without being wordy, educational without being boring; makes a great read-aloud for families and Christian educators. We are still not sure who enjoyed this more - the children or the adults! We took this book to a family get together on Thanksgiving and passed the book around to different aunts, and even read a chapter for the enjoyment of a cousin who just started college.
This book has proved to be a great resource for "Missionary Mondays", our weekly missions awareness day. We were going to spread the book out over several weeks, but due to several requests of, "Read another chapter!" we finished it ahead of schedule. It was wonderful to read stories showing that you don't have to be rich, eloquent, a particular age, or even literate to be used of God to get 'The Good News' out; a very challenging and uplifting thought.
