If a person can understand the doctrine of justification, then they can understand the core of the gospel and the Christian faith. It is the main highway through which all of Christianity flows. Greg Meyer has provided a clear, concise, and accessible even by which young Christians can grasp justification. This book will afford young readers better understanding of the glories and blessings of the gospel. I want my own children to read this book.

Justification is a word that all Christians, especially young ones, need to understand, because the reality that it signifies in essential to the Christian life. If you do not adequately understand and believe that your forgiveness and acceptance by God is based on the righteousness of Christ alone, imputed to us, and received by faith alone, then your Christian experience is imperilled. But the sentence I have just said is a theological mouthful and needs unpacking in such a way that students and other Christians can accessibly understand it. Greg Meyer does that good work in this book, and I commend it to you for your growth in grace and sense of assurance of salvation.

Guy Waters is one of those rare treasures: a serious and able academician whose feet are grounded in the church. "This primer on justification is a clear and sure-footed guide that is conversant with the latest scholarly issues. By reading this book, you will be grounded in this most important of doctrines and your faith will be enriched. If you are not absolutely certain about the biblical way of justification with God, then reading the Bible with this book in hand is your most urgent need."

"Waters' offers a concise yet extremely helpful treatment of what Scriptural justification is, its practical value in the Christian life and how the doctrine is being challenged in our present day. I won't hestitate to give this little book to the university students under my pastoral care."
