Description

A Sanctified Remembrance: With warmth, humour and poignancy, Christine Farenhorst invites readers to step into the love story she shared with her late husband.

Faith and loss mingle in this heartfelt memoir, filled with snapshots of a happy marriage and family life, interspersed with biblical reflections on the character and goodness of God, even amidst grief.

Christine Farenhorst’s skill with the pen shines through as she reflects on the almost fifty–three years she shared with Anco, from their first meeting to his final moments. Her grief is evident, but so is her hope in Christ and her knowledge that true life is found in Him.

With humorous moments, these warm–hearted reflections will be a balm to anyone suffering through grief.

I hope the writing was as helpful and healing for Christine, as it was helpful for me in dealing with the recent loss of my father and mother. I think it will benefit others too, and they too will be “Upheld.”
