One of the world’s best loved Christian writers for children, Patricia St John’s life is a story in itself.
Every place that she called home was the inspiration for yet another story that brought children to understand and love the Lord Jesus Christ.

Patricia St John was missionary; she was a nurse; she based her children's books on places where she lived or visited; her parents were missionaries.. Irene Howat does a wonderful job of making Miss St John come to life on the pages. A recommendation on the back of the book is for ages 7-9 (read to me) and 9-14 (read myself), but I would think it's a great book to give to anyone of any age.
