From the depths of history and the terrible days of the Great Wars we read stories of courage and danger but ultimately of faith, hope and love. A grandfather sits in front of a warm fire as the flames rekindle memories of times long gone - the next generation needs to know the truth. A table cloth and a large mischievous dog bring two women together from different sides of a bitter struggle. The dominion of Canada and battle scarred Dresden are reconciled through the love of Christ.

"There is a strength, beauty and simplicity to the descriptive prose that carries readers into the lives of the characters during living during the tumult of war, with ethical decisions to make. While based in history, the stories themselves are fictional, easily read and profitably digested, and providing food for soul."
