Description
Foreword by Alistair Begg. What is wrong with the human race?
Today those who shape social policy often offer the wrong answers. Dr Lloyd-Jones takes us beyond human prejudices and provides us with an apologetic for the gospel. The doctor exposes these flaws in modern thinking, especially in the "scientific approach." He provides us with a penetrating diagnosis of the human condition and shows decisively that the true remedy for our ills is in Jesus Christ - and Him alone. Truly everything we need for salvation is found in Christ alone.
Endorsements
"The world today is vastly different from the one in which our author lived. Yet despite all the advances of science and technology it would be hard to argue that it is a better place. While men and women look for answers that might be anticipated in the future, the Bible tells us that the answer is found in something accomplished in the past. Christ died for sins once for all the righteous for the unrighteous to bring you to God. It is this unchanging truth that we are to believe and proclaim in these changing times."
