Read Mark Learn: Romans

A Small Group Bible Study

St. Helen's

Description

Read / Mark / Learn is a small group Bible study series that is designed to equip people to study God’s Word for themselves – and in studying it, know God’s purpose for their lives. Each study establishes:

  • the context, aim and structure of the passage;
  • links with the Old Testament;
  • lessons from each part of the passage – highlighting key issues;
  • practical applications and suggestions.

Each section also includes conversational discussion starters and suggested questions for leading a Bible study. There is also a section for photocopying for group members to pre–prepare for each study.

Endorsements

"The art of simplification is not an easy one, but here it is at its best."

D. A. Carson
Emeritus Professor of New Testament, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois

"This series of books is superb for personal study, and for helping those who teach the Bible to others. I've been getting a lot to give away to others now. The level is accessible, the reasoning clear, the application careful. Faithful and concise, never missing the big picture. Excellent."

Mark Dever
Senior Pastor, Capitol Hill Baptist Church and President, 9Marks.org, Washington, DC

"Read / Mark / Learn has taught thousands of us over the years to know our Bibles and our God better."

Hugh Palmer
Rector, All Souls Langham Place, London

"An exciting commentary on Romans, very much
designed to answer the questions of ordinary people.
Those who want to use the material in a study group will
find plenty of resources for engaging with the text."

David Peterson
Retired Principal of Oak Hill Theological College, London

"Supremely beneficial for clarifying the message of
Romans, providing quality training for Bible study
leaders and planting deep missionary convictions in
young Christians."

Richard Coekin
Senior Minister, CO-MISSION Initiative
