Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Peter and I coordinate book cover design and assist marketing through media production.
What is your favourite thing about what you do?
Drinking tea… Oh, and seeing a book go from a digital to physical form!
What is one thing about you that other people think is unusual?
I think most Scottish people up here think I am very strange, but its just because I have adopted various things from three different cultures into one person and somehow that’s normal to me.
What are your three favourite CFP books?
2000 Years of Christ’s Power Vol. 1 + 2 + 3.
I’m still reading through Volume 2 but so far I’ve been really enjoying it. This series shows the beginnings of the Christian church and takes you through all the different controversies and turmoil, the splits and the unions. I have already found volume 1 and part of volume 2 very helpful in understand the origins of certain doctrines, how they arose and the reasons for their continuation or their demise.
Do you have any interesting tales to tell about your time at CFP?
I’ve only been here seven months so far, but in that time I have been stuck behind a fishing trawler on my way to work, chased sheep and hare, and come face to face with the elusive ‘wild haggis’. And I alone escaped to tell you!
Is there something you wish people would stop asking you?
‘I thought you knew this?’
